I showed you these lovely swirls by Kiki Halbert yesterday. They are available at PDW for only $2. I think they would be an awesome addition to ANY valentine's day LO. So I'm buying a set to give away to my loyal blog readers.
All you need to do is go to Kiki's store at either PDW or Scrapbook Elements and pick 1 kit that you really like. Then email that to me at carjaziscraps "at" gmail "dot" com. I've got another guest CT spot to announce. I'm very excited to be a guest for Cherie Shields for Feb. & March. I have a few of her kits from my time at OAKS and am really looking forward to seeing more of her stuff. She's getting ready to open at Sophia Sarducci too. So I think between my full time & guest gigs I'll be pretty busy. I'm taking a page from Cate's book and spreading the love around as a guest. Somehow I doubt I'll be able to match her amazing feats with challenges though.
I'm getting itchy to get to Friday so I can leave to go see the girls. The only bummer is they're calling for snow. Shannon gets nervous when I drive in snow. Actually he gets nervous when I drive up there alone anyway. He just doesn't realize that I was doing it long before I met him. He's getting ready for a nice little getaway with his dad. Since he's laid off for the winter he's flying down and he & his dad are driving to Florida. He'll be gone for most likely 3 weeks. Am I bad to think YIPPEE!! I'll have all the time in the world to scrap. He's been so touchy lately saying I spend too much time on the damn computer. Anyone else got a DH or SO that doesn't get it?

First of all - congrats on the guest spot for Cherie Shields!!! That's really exciting! We shared that same storm last night and it was intense down in KY. We had hail and lightening to go with the wind and rain. We even had the storm sirens go off a couple of times.
We're having the scary winds today too. I have to drive Julie to school because she's afraid if she waits outside for teh schoolbus the wind will toss her around. She's propably right...she's only 42 pounds!

The winds were crazy here too! I asked Pato to recheck to make sure the windows were locked in our bedroom because they were creaking so bad. I seriously thought they were going to fly off.
If it's supposed to be like that again tonight here or there, I'm not going. He can go, but I'm not risking the kids in that weather on the road. :o(

Hey,hon! Sorry I didn't get by earlier... It was only the boss and me at work today so if I spent 5 minutes doing anything other than work he started growling... And,after the car issues Dad and I had a 30mph drive back home due to still more blowing snow... and then I had to take the post-bankruptcy filing course so we can END this on the 11th. Overall glad Micaila go the cake last night 'cause today SUCKED!!!
